Recruitment of study participants

Are you a woman between the ages of 25 and 40 and a successful professional, academic or politician? Take part in a scientific study and be interviewed!

I would like to invite you to take part in a study on the emotions, experiences and inequalities in the social and professional advancement of successful young women: professionals, entrepreneurs, scientists and politicians. I am interested in your professional or academic stories, your opinion on the situation of women 'like you' in Poland and the emotions you experience in relation to work and private life.

The ongoing research aims to analyse gender inequalities and understand the impact of combining different areas of life on the emotional health and well-being of women in Poland.

Who am I looking for?

Women

🔸who speak Polish

🔸aged 25-40 (born between 1984 and 1999),

🔸 professionally, academically or politically successful, working as:

▪️specialists (e.g. economists, biotechnicians, lawyers, mathematicians, ▪️engineers, architects, doctors, pilots, psychologists, etc.),

▪️entrepreneurs,

▪️business owners,

▪️managers,

▪️scientists (e.g. PhD students, researchers, lecturers),

▪️politicians.

🔸Polish women (living in Poland or in another country) or women of another nationality who have been living in Poland for many years.

🔸Women who would like to take part in research on experiences and emotions in the areas of work/academic and private life.

What will the study involve?

Participation involves taking part in an interview in a relaxed atmosphere over coffee and cake. The interview can take place either in person (in major cities in Poland) or online. It will be a group interview with 4-6 women with similar experiences to yours taking part at the same time. Statements made during the interview will be anonymised and the data collected will only be used for research purposes. This means that none of your statements will be attributed to you as a research participant and person.

📆 WHEN. The interview dates will be tailored to the participants' preferences and the interviews themselves will last a maximum of 3 hours. The focus interviews will begin in October 2024 and continue until empirical saturation.
